                      Inspired by Boltanski: the heart archive in Teshima, Japan

Concept

Experiencing art often feels like an intimate journey, typically undertaken alone or within a close-knit group of viewers. My concept is to create a silent dialogue between the past and the future viewers across time and space. Each individual will sense the emotions of those who came before them upon observing the installation, and in turn, to transmit their own feelings to subsequent viewers through the rhythm of a heartbeat.

• MVP demo: single lamp
• Ideal: an environment, space installation in a dark room
  • viewer enter the room: 10 lights of previous audience’s heart beat shining
  • pulse to record the current viewer’s heart beat when the saw the installation
  • a single heart beat light pulsing
  • the new heartbeat join the group of heart beat, waiting for the next viewer
