2. Draw a diagram describing your inquiry space (aka ideas surrounding an idea you want to explore further) - any kind of diagram will do, but share your thought space visually
The pre-work for both of these tasks is to do some mind mapping on one idea/theme/topic (or a few) you're curious about and want to consider and gather inspiration on. If you're new to mind mapping, or if you prefer a more guided experience, here's a slide deck you can use.
One place I suggested during class for nice inspiration bibliographies is MOMA R&D Salons and prior Thesis Projects (prior to 2024 is on Vimeo) but don't limit yourself when finding inspiration!
