Objective

Scenario

Our final project is a dual-purpose outdoor lamp designed for a beachside bar. During the day, it functions as a decorative sculpture; at night, it provides ambient lighting to create a relaxed atmosphere for guests enjoying drinks on the beach. The lamp automatically turns on at sunset (8 p.m.) and stays on until sunrise (6 a.m.), enhancing the beach vibe through the night.

Functionalities

The lamp has multiple modes controlled by a remote:

• On/Off Button: Toggles power. A small indicator LED shows whether the lamp is active.
• Auto Mode: Uses Philips Hue’s schedule API to gradually change colors every hour from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. This mode only activates at night.
• Scene Switch: Manually cycles through preset color scenes. Useful during the day when Auto Mode is inactive.
