Brainstorming for My Final Project

This week, I started brainstorming ideas for my final project. The concept revolves around scanning a building’s shape, which has two prominent archways. Instead of creating an abstract visual piece, I want to incorporate a story-driven approach. Here are the three ideas I came up with:

1. From Airplane to Spaceship ✈️🚀

Using the two archways as “airplane windows,” I imagined a scene from inside a passenger plane taking off, soaring through the sky, and eventually reaching space. The exciting part is using TouchDesigner’s particle effects to gradually break down and transform the airplane cabin into a spaceship. Even the characters will morph into astronauts through animation. This idea feels cinematic and technically challenging, making it my top choice.

2. Hero vs. Dragon 🏰🐉

Inspired by classic fantasy stories, I thought about turning the archways into castle windows. Outside, a dragon looms; inside, a brave warrior holds a sword, ready for battle. The character animation and special effects would be done in Blender and Unreal Engine, which makes it a complex but visually stunning idea. However, it might be a bit too hard….

3. Psychedelic Subway 🚇🌈

This is a more abstract take—turning the archways into subway tunnels but with vibrant colors, trippy lighting, and animated elements to create a surreal experience. It’s a simpler approach compared to the others but would still offer a visually captivating result.
