My part

I’m the elder, I experienced the old world and the new. That was a special day in my life. A rare alignment of celestial bodies unleashed a powerful solar wind and forever changed the structure of the earth atmosphere. Above ground is forever experiencing huge wind that all lives cannot exist without a shelter. People start to migrate into the underground world. The wind brings both disaster and opportunities. I used to be an electronic and mechanical engineer, I lead the first engineer team top build the wind harvesting facilities. Later we build the wind academy — an institution producing engineering and management talents for the wind harvesting industry. And now the alumni community of the wind academy became the main source of the upper class.

Here is an umbrella from the old world. It’s a historical item in the current world that there’s no weather situation to use it anymore. But it’s always part of my memory of the world I was born into.

• Journalist (Yidan): review about economic system, broadcast system
• Rebel (Damon): illegal organization to encourage people break the elite social hierarchy and live above ground.
